Trevor Bending would appreciate members having a look at the previous ('blue') version of the website, largely created by Sam, as not only the colour but also the structure of that version is radically different and in Trevor's view much easier to work with from a web-editing point of view, particularly if a number of people are to contribute to the website as Trevor believes to be essential. (Witness the fact that Sam is somewhere in the Southern hemisphere and despite having access to the site since end August, Trevor has been unable to discuss it with anyone on the committee, nor to update it without these discussions whilst he has been in Spain.) For the very latest developments and news, see the new weblog at http://humberyawl.wordpress.com and please comment or sign up to contribute.
You could also have a look at two earlier experimental blogs at http://humberyawlclub.blogspot.com and at http://navasola.wordpress.com and note that the 'HYC' pages on the latter have been updated easily and more recently. You can contribute to any of these either by commenting or by emailing Trevor: trevor at humber dot co dot uk to be added as an author or contributor. See also the Albert Strange Association website (built on the wordpress blog software) to see what is possible for a website that a number of people could easily contribute to.
